Together by solidarity

UBUNTU PROJECT (RDT)

Psalms 41;1,2,3 - « Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.»

This blog was created in order to make known a great project of solidarity named Ubuntu Project. I truly believe this will be a better world if we all contribute in some way in helping others. What we must all understand is that by helping others we help ourselves because we are making a difference in the world with a good act that washes our soul and it is pleasing in the sight of God. We all want to live in a better world, so as we are in this world we also have to contribute and not sit idly by. For those who do not even have the minimum financial ability, can pray to God every day for all projects of solidarity have much success, and can also help spread this blog and the sites below in your social networks.  Disclosing also help to expand these missions and projects. Thank you for your availability and God bless.

I met this project through this site"relógiodostempos.wordpress.com" of a Pastor and missionary named Elmir Dell'Antonio (Brazilian) when I researched about the Book “Relógio dos Tempos” (Clock of the Times). He is also the author of this wonderful book, which helps us to understand the times and seasons we live and what the purpose of human existence, citing the Bible and social sciences. This book is not translated yet into this language, but I think it will be available soon, because the goal is to give these precious information to the largest possible number of people and help the Ubuntu Project.
Elmir Dell'Antonio created this project in order to help many needy people. It is to him and people like him that we should thank so much kindness and love for others because it is for people who struggle for the welfare of others that this world is still worth and did not fall in total decay.

I used this information below from the original site and translated into this language. I hope you understand and touches your hearts too.

"Performance Report of UBUNTU Project
Acquiring RDT shirts, DVD (only available in portuguese) or Silicone Bracelets you will help save a child or teen in extreme poverty.

An anthropologist bought a lot of goodies, put everything in a basket, made a tape loop and left it under a tree. Having called children, combined that to his command, they should run to catch the basket; who arrived first would win all its contents. Children stand on the 'start line' and waited for the combined signal. When he said 'Go!' all children held hands instantly and ran together toward the basket. Reaching the basket, distributed sweets among themselves and everyone was happy. The anthropologist went to the children and asked why they acted like that if only one could get all that was in the basket. They simply answered: 'Ubuntu! How one of us would be happy if all others were sad?' The word Ubuntu means: I am what I am by what WE ARE! Ubuntu is an African philosophy that focuses on alliances and relationships between people. It is seen as a traditional African concept.

Ubuntu

Africa: A Glance that Speaks -  What is UBUNTU Project?
The RDT launches 'UBUNTU PROJECT' to attract partners to adopt a child, a young person or a family in Mozambique, northeastern Brazil or somewhere in extreme poverty. Even if you participate with minimum, together we can make a great transformation. Our concrete contribution can make a big difference in so much grace in the lives of many people who have suffered so much need.

How to participate?
Acquiring the materials of the Ministry RDT you are automatically contributing to the project. But also…subscribing to receive our information periodically. We will always be sending you information about UBUNTU with reports of social and integral actions that we will do in partnership with other agencies such as the Church in Maputo, the project CADI (Centro de Assistência e Desenvolvimento Integral/Service Center and Integral Development), Missão Mais (Mission More), Missão Portas Abertas(Open Doors Mission) and others that seek to deploy the Kingdom of God. These names are Portuguese because this project was developed by Brazilian missionaries.

 Polana Caniço
This action is developed in Maputo, the capital, in Polana Canico neighborhood, a community extremely needy, with hundreds of children in a precarious situation, some of them without a parent, where many have been subjected to sexual abuse. There’s no basic sanitation, no schools and rare presence of the Government.

 Isac and Esther
Isaac and Esther, pictured above, have no parents and were raised by an aunt, who also died. Now they live with a missionary. They are teens who really need our help to study and to survive. Just as Isaac and Esther there are many others who need help. Who cares? What can we do together? On a visit to their house, gave everything they had to eat, a lot of 'matapa', typical food of the region, made with cassava/manioc leaves. You can adopt a family like this and help to build a decent housing, as well as in studies or purchase school supplies, for example.

UBUNTU- Mission

ÁFRICA

Children in Polana Caniço

Being in Africa in December 2013, we met a very sad reality of children and adolescents in a state of extreme poverty. Aiming to help in any way, we signed a partnership with some local missionaries. The intention is starting to help a couple of brothers Mozambicans, called Esther and Isac. And also a school in a very poor neighborhood called Polana Caniço. Esther and Isac are teenagers who lost their parents and were raised by an aunt who also died in March / 14, and are now temporarily living with a Brazilian missionary called Martha in Maputo, Mozambique. Being there loved this couple of brothers and their family, and help financially in sustaining this orphaned family composed of two children. In Polana Canico, the Clarismundo and Deise missionaries built with the help of the Philadelphia Church, a small school, which teaches children and also gives food in a reality where we saw children eating biscuits with sewage sludge that caught the ground, starving.

WHERE CAN NOT WAIT
In Guinea Bissau children are sold into forced marriages with no right of choice. They would like, but can not wait. This project “MISSION MORE”(Missão Mais - Brasilian) of Pastor Mário Freitas and I CHOSE TO WAIT (Eu Escolhi Esperar - Brasilian) of Pastor Nelson Jr., aims to 'buy' these girls, preventing them from being sold to men who become their owners and their future husbands. We are helping and investing in this ministry of compassion. The idea according the Pastor Nelson is: "a campaign in favor of these children. Acting together with the Mission MORE (Missão Mais – Brasilian), sending resources and setting a foundation for "buying" them and also adopts them. "

HOPE IN THE NIGHT
Homeless
A work action where pastors Elmir and Tathiana are leaders of the Ministry of Evangelism and Missions of Baptist Church Philadelphia. A group of brothers go out every two weeks through the streets of Victoria, at dawn, and take love and affection and also food to abandoned homeless. They are addicted to drugs, prostitutes; many were heads of families who for some tragedy in life are living on the streets. People who came from far away and remained here (Brasil). Are several dire realities that lead the human being to moral, spiritual and social degradation. We aim to help fill a van with gasoline so that the group is able to get out in the morning and deal with these people.

MASCOT
Evangelistic and social action
A group of brothers in 2013 went in a Kombi to the Mascot city, in Bahia, led by Fabio, native of this small city in need. They took food, clothes and shoes. Made an evangelistic and social work in the community, where dozens of people were assisted. In June 2014, they went with 60 people, realize this missionary work again. UBUNTU PROJECT shows solidarity to this noble mission, and donate some basic baskets and also helps to raise clothes and shoes to take to this poor community.

PERSECUTED CHURCH
There are two churches in the world the Free Church and the persecuted church. MISSION OPEN DOORS (Missão Portas Abertas) for decades have been giving evangelistic assistance to persecuted Christians around the world. Contributing to this work we save the lives of thousands of people who currently can be arrested and even in labor camps in countries like North Korea, China and others. We RDT wear this shirt and help this cause.

SPONSOR A CHILD IN THE NORTHEAST
(kill the hunger of a Northeastern child )
In partnership with the CADI, we aim to adopt two children annually in northeastern Brazil. With only $ 50.00 per child, we feed and give school supplies to a child in a state of extreme poverty, for an entire month. We are adopting two children initially.
